We all know that scientists
think that we evolved from monkeys. They aren’t sure from which one. A group of
scientists compared human and monkey genomes. They’re discovery is that a lot of
parts of the human genome resemble the gorilla genome more than they do the chimpanzee
genome.15% of human genome resembles gorilla genome and 15% of gorilla genome
resembles chimpanzee genome.
My thoughts
I think that this is a cool discovery
and that this will help a lot with discovering the evolution of humans. The only
problem is that testing is hard because gorillas are endangered species and
some other monkeys are to. I wonder what we evolved from and those that animal
still exist or did it evolve into another animal and then become extinct.
