NOBEL PRIZE

Its a tradition that every fall in Sweden a Nobel prize is awarded. For scientists this is a supreme award. The scientists this year won the Nobel prize for making discoveries about crystals, human body and the universe. The prize includes a medal and a cash reward of $1.5 million. If you win a Nobel Prize
in physics or chemistry,
you’ll receive a
medallion just like this
one, in addition to fame
and money.

The three astrophysics all born in the USA split the prize. Scientists know that the universe is getting bigger. Most researchers thought that it was slowing down, but it isn't, it is getting faster.Half of the prize will go to Saul Permutter of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California, who made the discovery while making the Supernova Cosmology Project. The other half will be split by Schmidt and Adam Reiss, from Johns Hopkins University and the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore. Schmidt and Reiss made the same discovery at the same time as Perlmutter.

This year’s Nobel Prize winners will be the center of attention at a ceremony in Stockholm on December 10. There, the awardees will receive medals and certificates, as well as a letter from the King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf.

My Opinion
I think that its an exciting time, as people try to predict the winners and the winners get phone calls that will give them news that will change their lives

  3. I'm pretty sure if he blew up the school, he would go to jail not get a prize. Be careful what you comment on Nemanja.
